    What Is Sublimation Printing?

Sublimation is a process where special inks turn into gas under heat and bond directly with polyester fibers or polymer-coated surfaces. Instead of sitting on top of the fabric, the design becomes part of it.

    How the Sublimation Process Works

    1. Design Creation – Artwork is prepared digitally (CMYK format).

    2. Transfer Printing – The design is printed onto sublimation transfer paper.

    3. Heat Press – Under high heat (≈190–205°C) and pressure, ink converts to gas.

    4. Fabric Bonding – Ink permanently bonds with polyester fibers.

    5. Cooling – The print becomes permanent, smooth, and breathable.
